The Business Name Must Match the Sign
The profile name is the sign written down. If the sign says Ayse Kuafor, the profile does not add best and a city.
The profile name is the sign, written down. If the sign says Ayse Kuafor and the profile says Ayse Kuafor plus best and a city, you have two names. The customer who looks for the sign does not match. A name that carries extra search words can also be rejected. The sign on a spare-parts counter reads Demir Oto. The profile had become Demir Oto spare parts and a cheapest-service line. He cut it back to Demir Oto. He put parts and fitting into services. The check used the same words as the sign, and it passed. The receipt, the website header, and the profile should show the same words. A legal name can stay on the invoice. The name said at the door is the name that stands on the profile.
1. Copy the sign as it is, including the spelling.
If the sign has no city and no best, the profile has neither. An extra word is a decoration put there for search. The decoration fights the letters on the door.
2. Put the extra work in the category, the services, and the description.
The name is not a sentence. Spare parts and fitting sit on the services line. The name line stays short, because the sign is short.
3. Let the receipt, the website header, and the profile carry the same words.
A nickname can stay on a social page, and it cannot stay on the map. If the customer sees one name on the receipt and another on the door, they think they are in the wrong place. Three places use one name.
4. If you are changing the sign, change the profile after the new sign is on the wall.
A name that is not on the street yet fails a check. Writing the new name while the old sign still stands promises two doors. Paint first, then the profile.
5. Let a legal name that nobody says stay on the invoice.
The profile uses the real public name used at the door. If the invoice title and the sign differ, the map follows the sign. Carrying the invoice onto the profile shows a company name the customer did not search.
The day Demir Oto was shortened, the calls started to come as parts and fitting. The cheapest-service sentence left. The name on the check card was the same as the letters on the street. The owner printed the same two words on the new card as well. There is no third word.
Do not add a word to the profile before the sign changes. The added word looks for a week as if it brings search, then a check fails and the name is hard to bring back. While it comes back, the reviews can hang. A short name lasts longer than a long decoration. If a new hand will print cards, let them read the text from the sign, not from the old profile. If the old profile is swollen, the card swells too. A swollen card calls the swollen name back. Once a month, look at the sign and write the profile name beside it. If even one letter differs, correct it that day. The difference looks small and becomes a large confusion at the door. The customer looks for the letter, does not find it, and walks into the shop next door.
