Keep the Colours Calm

A red band, a yellow box, and three typefaces make the page look messy. Keep the type dark, the button one colour, and the background light. Let the photo carry the colour.

The colour of the page should not step in front of the work. The mistake is to leave the template's red band, yellow box, and three separate typefaces as they came. The eye stops at every box and the photo of the work disappears. The fix is to keep the type dark, the background light, and the button one calm colour. For a tile fitter the colour is in the frame of the surface that was laid, and the frame of the page does not compete with that frame. A bright notice box does not repeat in every section. Two typefaces are enough: one for the heading, one for the body. The customer should see the colour in the tile itself.

1. Keep the background light and the type dark

A light background and dark type can be read on the phone as well, and thin light type on a dark background disappears in the sun. The mistake is to leave the template's night theme on a workshop page. The fix is to leave the background light and the type in a dark tone, the heading can be a little darker than the body, and a third tone is not required.

2. Let the button be one colour

If the call button is one colour, the write button another, and directions a third, the page looks like a fair. The mistake is to give every button the ready-made colour from the template. The fix is to keep the main button in one calm colour, and if another movement exists to make it a lighter form of the same colour or plain type, and a red shout is reserved for a real warning, not for every heading.

3. Let the photo carry the colour

The vein of the tile, the tone of the joint, and the daylight carry more colour than the decoration of the page. The mistake is to lay a coloured band and a logo over the photo. The fix is to leave the frame without a border or with a thin line, no band and no filter, so the customer sees the surface that will enter their home as it is.

4. Two typefaces are enough

One face for the heading, one for the body, and if a third goes to the price box and a fourth to the menu, the page falls apart. The mistake is to leave every face in the template switched on. The fix is to stop at two, the heading a little larger, the body a readable size, and neither of them a decorated script, because script falls apart on the phone.

5. Do not put a notice box on every section

If a yellow box, a red band, and a flashing line repeat in every section, nothing looks important. The mistake is to put a box above every heading so that it will attract attention. The fix is to leave at most one emphasis on the page, and that is the main button, the rest is plain lines, and the photo of the tile is already the place to look.

A concrete page can stand like this. The background is light, the type is dark, and the heading is a slightly larger size of the same family. The call button carries one dark green or one dark blue, and there is no other button. The tile frame has no border and no band on top of it. The yellow box and the red band have been removed. The customer sees the surface first, then the button, and the page does not shout like a fair.
