The Profile and the Website Must Tell One Story
The profile is the short notice on the map. The website is the long form of the same shop. If they clash, the customer believes the one that wasted the trip.
The profile is the short notice on the map. The website is the long form of the same shop. If they clash, the customer believes the one that wasted the trip. Hours, phone, address, services, and photos should tell one story. A tyre shop's profile said open on Sunday. The site said shut on Sunday. A driver crossed town on Sunday and wrote as much. They now write the hours in a notebook first, then the profile, then the site, in that order, before lunch. The notebook is the single source. Two places should not be two memories. Photos can differ in number, and they cannot differ at the door. The site can show more. It cannot show another threshold.
1. Pick one true set and write it in both places the same day.
The profile is not allowed its own hours. If the site says evening close, the profile writes that too. If one says noon and the other says evening, the customer comes at noon and finds the shutter down.
2. A service named on the map should also stand on the site, and a service you dropped should be deleted from both.
If the map says rims and the site does not, the customer comes for rims. An old tyre size that still stands on the site should come off if you no longer sell it. An old line is an old promise.
3. Photos can differ in number, and they cannot differ in kind.
The site can keep a longer gallery. The door, the sign, and the counter should be the same. If the profile shows a summer front and the site a winter front, there are two shops.
4. Once a month, on your phone, read the map and then the site as a stranger.
Fix every clashing line before the weekend. The reading takes ten minutes. If the ten minutes are not set aside, the driver comes again on Sunday.
5. If you do not have a site that can hold these facts, open a page and write its address on the profile.
Vitrin holds the shop's hours, phone, and services in one place, the trial is fifteen days, and the price is written on that page. Instead of an empty link, this page carries the same story as the box on the map. Until the page is open, the profile alone cannot carry the long story.
After that Sunday the tyre shop put the notebook in place. Before lunch the three places show the same hours. The driver did not come again to a shut Sunday door. The rim line stands on the site as well. The old size came off. Two places, one tyre shop.
Write the last line that changed on the cover of the notebook. If the line is the hours, change all three places that day. If one remains, the story splits. A split story comes back in a review as a wasted trip. Instead of trying to delete the review, finish the place that was left behind. A new hand should not write the site from their own hours. Their own hours are the guess that Sunday is open. If the guess fights the notebook, the notebook wins. If the notebook does not win, the driver leaves empty again. Every empty Sunday is the sign being contradicted by the site. What cuts that is the order before lunch. If the order breaks, fix the notebook first, then the two screens.
