Mark the Business Temporarily Closed

A closure of weeks has a status called temporarily closed. One Sunday is a special hour, and permanently closed is the button you do not use if you will return.

There is a status for a shop that will open again, temporarily closed. Use it for works, a long illness, or a stop of weeks. A single Sunday is a special hour, not a closure. Permanently closed is a different button. It is the wrong one if you plan to return. A butcher closed for six weeks of works and left the hours as usual. Delivery drivers kept coming. He switched to temporarily closed, wrote the week he hoped to open, and on the Monday the counter was ready he cleared the status before the first customer. The green dot should not burn while the shutter is down. If the dot stays lit, the person who arrives writes the review at the door.

1. Mark temporarily closed when the door will stay shut long enough that ordinary hours would lie.

A few days of bayram need special hours. A few weeks of works need a change of status. Mixing the two means either looking open while shut, or looking shut while open.

2. Write the return in a post and in the description, and if the date slips, update the sentence.

Without a date the customer tries the door every morning. When the date changes, delete the old sentence, and do not stack a new one on top. Two dates are two promises.

3. Put the same notice on the website.

If the profile says closed and the site says open, the customer trusts the site and comes for nothing. Both places should name the same week. If the person who edits the site is not in the shop, give them the text in writing.

4. On the morning you unlock, remove the status and check the green dot from outside.

If the mark stays, an open butcher looks closed. Do the check from the pavement, not from the back room. If the dot is not green, refresh the listing and look again after a minute.

5. Do not choose permanently closed in order to pause the listing.

On the return they may ask you to verify from the start, and the reviews can be hard to put back in front of people. A pause and a closure are different jobs. A pause is temporarily closed.

The butcher removed the status on Monday morning, saw the dot from the street, and then raised the shutter. The driver did not come for nothing that week. The strip on the site came down the same morning. The customer saw an open butcher both on the map and on the site.

If the works run long, lengthen the sentence, and do not switch the status to open. Lighting the green dot before the wall is finished calls the driver back. Even if a hand is working inside, a day with no selling counts as closed. Showing a day with no selling as open becomes a game of a half shutter. Write the return day on the calendar, and let the first job that morning be removing the status. If the first job is a photo, the dot is forgotten. If the dot is forgotten, a regular goes to another butcher and takes weeks to come back. This button is a promise as visible as the sign.
