Google Maps and Local SEO for Businesses

How a nearby customer finds you on the map and in search: a complete profile, reviews, and a website that matches.

When someone searches for a service "near me", they look at the map and the first few results. A wrong phone number, old hours, or an empty website sends the click to a competitor. Local visibility starts with one accurate profile and a page that profile can point to.

1. Fill the profile from a single source

Name, category, phone, address, and opening hours must match the website. Two different numbers look like two different businesses. Photos should show the shop, the people, and the work itself. A logo alone does not fill a profile. The service area should stay inside the places you actually cover.

2. The review is the sentence above the star

People read the rating, then the first line. A short, calm reply keeps the profile alive. Asking a satisfied customer after the job is fair. Bought reviews put the account at risk. On a bad review, write what was fixed instead of trying to erase it.

3. The page should describe the job they searched

The home page needs the neighbourhood, the service, and the phone number in plain sight. A person looking for a specific job will not stop at a generic welcome. Use the service name in the heading and the first paragraph. Do not stuff the district into every sentence. Repeating a word does not raise the ranking. Explaining the work does.

4. Put a working address in the website field

The website box on the map is the door people open. A page built with SektorCepte Vitrin belongs in that box. The visitor then sees the service, the photos, and a way to call in one place. A fifteen-day free trial lets you connect a working page instead of an empty link.

5. Check it once a month

See which searches showed you. Clarify the page for any service that did not appear. Replace the profile photo when the season changes. Local ranking is not a sign you hang once and forget. The wider setup is in the corporate website guide.
